5 THINGS I'M DOING EASIER IN MY BIZ THANKS TO HUMAN DESIGN
I'm coming to you today from my holiday. Being out in nature and in my ideal Human Design environment of 'Shores' is definitely inspiring me!!
A LOT has changed in my business since starting my Human Design journey. If I think back to this time last year, I've done a complete 180 and my days look completely different. This has inspired me to share the 5 things I've changed in my business based on Human Design.

DISCIPLINE AND STRATEGY
I want to send regular email newsletters. I want to but I just can’t.
My discipline arrow in my chart is pointing right which means I’m not really built to apply discipline to doing certain things. I really want to but I just can’t make myself.
Now I send newsletters when I feel inspired to do so.
My strategy arrow is also pointing right which means planning out a marketing strategy is not for me. I need to keep it loose and have an open palm theme of seeing what comes to me and going with that.
I used to plan 2-3 months of content at a time so I could set and forget. If I’m really honest, it was generic and boring. It was no wonder I lost my passion for social media.
I found myself struggling to post, feeling wary of stories.
But now I work with my design it feels easy, it flows, I’m working on what i love and doing what I feel called to.
I still have a plan and strategy but its not strict like 3 posts x 1 newsletter per week.
NOT JUMPING INTO DECISIONS
I’m a Generator with an emotional authority. So I really get that gut feeling about something but I also need to wait for my emotional wave to regulate before making any decisions.
Here's an example: A Friend and I came up with an idea for a product. We brainstormed and felt really good about it. I was like yep I’m in with this idea. The next day I thought about it again and I realised actually I’m not in with this idea - I still love the idea, and it can really work but I don’t feel like it’s my thing, someone else needs to do it.
The old me would have then given this thing hours and hours of my time trying to get it to work but in reality I'm not supposed to. I will still give it some time because I believe in it and it can help a lot of people but I’ll guide someone else through doing it.
FACE TO FACE
My biggest gift is Creating Unity – For me it’s all about creating those connections with people.
I realised I wasn’t doing this in my business. In fact I was trying to avoid it and do every thing via email.
Now I focus on making more connections with my clients.
An example of this is my Human Design chart readings. These were chewing up so much of my time and starting to feel like a drainer. I was putting together a pdf, making a recording running through the pdf and then answering back and forth questions with the client.
I realised I wasn't doing these to align with my design and creating connections. So now I pull a few key points together in a pdf and run through the entire chart over Zoom with the client. The review is recorded and they can ask questions as we go.
MY IDEAL WORKING CONDITIONS
My workspace is now aligned to my HD environment of shores. I've moved my desk to a space where I have a clear view inside but also can take in what is happening out in my street.
Being out in nature is also part of my design so I try to get out for a walk most days around water or bushland to help inspire me.
My digestion is sounds and music - I always have music on while I’m working and even playing quietly in the background when I’m on a zoom call.
USING MY INTUITION
I’ve discovered how to work with my intuition and tap into that to get the best outcome for my work (I’m hitting the mark on my designs first go), and I use it for my marketing copy and my offers.
Is it time you looked at everything you are doing in your business and asked yourself if it aligns with your design?
Looking at your Human Design and how you are energetically mean’t to operate will guide you to the right way for you.
Look at your energy type including your strategy and authority.
Look at your profile lines and the main gates.
Look at your arrows.
This is all valuable intel that will guide the way you do business - not someone else plan.
